KazTransGas JSC reports that it resumed supply of natural gas to Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan in full. Gas supply was resumed to all consumers in settlements who were earlier cut off from gas supply. In order to avoid repeating cut-offs, gas supply on this gas pipeline was resumed after full set of necessary check-ups. The company specialists repaired broken gas pipeline parts in few hours.
We remind that yesterday in Bayzak district trees fell and damaged middle-pressure gas pipeline. As a result of the accident, gas supply was cut off for 1,500 users in five settlements: Tuymekent, Ayman-tobe, Dikhan, Zhenis and Zdorovie villages.
First of all, gas supply was restored to objects of social importance in the listed settlements. No accidents were reported in other settlements. Also, gas supply wasn't interrupted to regional center. Following upgrade of gas infrastructure, gas is supplied to Taraz using 3-tier system, which provides for uninterrupted gas supply even during repair works.
Today all users in the region receive gas, all gas systems work in normal mode.
